That’s incredibly frustrating, they commission a study and then say there’s not enough evidence when they’re told there is?!?!?

YES. it is never about the actual evidence. its about pretending there isn't evidence in order to mask the bigotry!

yeah thats a good point. perhaps they were hoping for a florida/cass/hhs sham report? or they included the study provision as a copromise to get the bill passed?

They're not ignorant of the science. Anti-trans bigotry is not rooted in science (or even religion) but in personal attitudes of genocidal cisheteronormative intolerance. I once harbored such attitudes. However, I am now trans and a far happier person.
